Camping Whitsundayds provides the easiest way to arrange a camping adventure in the beautiful Whitsunday Islands. Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service provide public camping sites on the islands, but due to the complexity of arranging barge drop offs and pickups, camping gear, supplies and permits many people never get the chance. We've just made it a whole lot easier !

You'll spend 3 days and 2 nights camping beachside right at famous Whitehaven Beach.

All of these campsites are very close to the beach, giving you access to the best beach in the Whitsundays and quite possibly the world.

You get your campsite drop off and pick up by small flat bottom barge. This vessel is ideally suited to this because it allows the vessel to get you and your gear onto the beach, safely and easily. The time of drop off and pick up differ from each trip to the next as they are based around tidal access times.

All your camping equipment is provided. including tents, sleeping mats, sleeping bags, torches, cooking and eating utensils etc... There is a detailed list at the bottom of this page.

All your food is provided, with somewhere to safely stow it to keep it cool and away from the local wildlife ! We provide a choice of menus, you can decide at the time of booking.

Permits must be arranged by you, but we make that really easy. It can be done via the internet once you've booked your trip with us or over the phone. We provide phone and internet access at our departure desk just for this purpose.

When camping at various locations around the Whitsundays, you're likely to bump in to all sorts of wildlife. From wallaby's to Monitor Lizards (That look alot like a goanna), to fruit bats, birds of every variety. Turtles are common sites swimming off the beach camp sites in the early morning and early evening along with sea eagles cruising high above.

Due to the distances involved this site is a minimum of 4 persons.
