KNUCKLE REEF LAGOON
Knuckle Reef Lagoon is an underwater paradise. Protected as it is, Knuckle Reef has its own ecosystem with magnificent corals and a diversity of marine life not found in more open areas. Knuckle Reef boasts a higher concentration and greater diversity of live coral than any other commercial site in Queensland. Scientific surveys report over 200 different types of fish and over 150 types of hard and soft coral in the immediate ara of the pontoon. Knuckle Reef provides a unique world for you to explore - be it by Subsea Adventure, glass bottom boat, snorkelling or diving.

SNORKELLING

Enjoy fantastic snorkelling amongst colourful marine life at Knuckle Reef Lagoon. All the gear you need is provided including sterilised mouth pieces for the snorkels. YOU DON'T NEED TO GET WET...

You don’t need to get wet to experience the wonders of the reef. Take our 'Subsea Adventure' or Glass Bottom Boat excursion, complete with an entertaining and informative commentary by our crew. And don't miss our fantastic underwater observatory with its panoramic views of life under the sea. You'll see amazing fish and marine life.

All this sea air makes you hungry! Throughout the day we'll feed you up with morning and afternoon tea and a sumptuous buffet lunch prepared by our on board chef.

LUNCH - ENTREE Individual prawn cocktail topped with remoulade sauce and sliced lemon

LUNCH - MAIN Meats Whole baked ham on the bone carved by Chef Platters of sliced turkey, grain fed roast beef, smoked Strasburg or Hungarian salami, served with cranberry sauce, horseradish sauce and seeded mustard. Seafood Large clam shell filled with fresh cooked prawns served with lemon segments and a sauce of mild chilli, sour cream, tomato and chopped shallots. Platters of NZ mussels served with a sweet chilli sauce and garnished with fresh herbs and parsley. Cooked white fish fillets

Fruit Selection Basket of fresh apples, oranges or bananas. Large platters of sliced tropical fruit garnished with grapes or strawberries as season permits.

Salads Selection of mesculin and iceberg lettuce with Italian or French dressing. Potato and bacon salad with sour cream and fresh chives. Coleslaw and lemon mayonnaise Chef’s special chicken breast and Asian noodle salad served with chilli and lime dressing. Separate bowls of cubed tomatoes, grated carrot, sliced seeded cucumber, salad onions, mushrooms, grated cheese, boiled egg segments and sliced black olives.
