DAY 1 - Wild Colonial Day
Pick-ups in Hobart commence at 7.30am
Start your trip with a day visit to the famous penal colony of Port Arthur and see first-hand the convict prison and conditions during Australia's settlement. Mellow out at the nearby natural geological attractions of Tasman Arch, Devils Kitchen and take a walk to Remarkable Cave. Drop into Richmond on the way back to Hobart.

DAY 2 - Fun at Freycinet
Head to the beaches today via a short stop at the historic town of Ross. Hit the coastline and sink your feet into the pristine white sand which can be found all along the east coast. Walk to breathtaking Wineglass Bay and be mesmerized by the crashing waves on the shore. Relax in the laidback surfing town of Bicheno.

DAY 3 - The Mysterious North East
The Mysterious North East Meet some locals at the nearby wildlife park before heading north alongside the white beaches of the breathtaking east coast. Explore the north east today and cruise alongside the stunning coastline. Stop and explore the beaches at the Bay of Fires, then head inland to the Blue Tiers region with its waterfalls and rainforests. Meet the pig at the pub in the paddock, and finish the day in Launceston.

DAY 4 - Tarkine experience
Tarkine experience Head along the coastline to the northwest, to explore the Tarkine and Julius River Reserve with its rainforest walks. Peer over the edge of the world, and feel the wild elements of the rugged and remote west coast.

DAY 5 - Day 5 Top End Tassie
Climb Stanley's famous NUT then visit Arthur River before spending some time at Dismal Swamp. A visit to Table Cape provides stunning views over the northwest before tempting your taste buds at Lactos cheese factory. Even spot an elusive Platypus in the wild!
Overnight - Devonport (Breakfast/Lunch)
DAY 6 - Cradle Mountain Madness
Go west and spend the day at Cradle Mountain exploring some of the numerous walks within the world heritage national park. Take a stroll around Dove Lake, or head off to test your lungs with a hike to Marion's Lookout or on one of the many other great walks.
Overnight - Cradle Mountain (Breakfast / Lunch)
DAY 7 - West Coast Wonderland
Wake up and wave goodbye to Cradle Mountain and head from the mountains to walk to Montezuma Falls then climb Henty sand dunes on the very edge of the west coast. See the longest stretch of ocean on the planet from Ocean Beach.
Overnight - Strahan (Breakfast/Lunch)
DAY 8 - Tall Trees and Tall Stories
Continue the journey south with a visit to Nelson Falls, drink from the famous Franklin River, learn about the beginnings of the Greens Party, drop in at Lake St Clair and finally photograph stunning Russell Falls at Mt Field National Park. Hug a tall tree and finish your 8 day journey with a drive through the picturesque Derwent Valley and into Hobart.

We offer scrumptious lunches to enjoy in the great outdoors. Vegetarians & carnivores are easily catered for, please advise your dietary requirements at booking. For brekkie we supply cereals, fruit, toast, tea & coffee.

Accommodation included in the prices is backpacker style! If you wish to upgrade just let us know, we can book any style and will give you a price on asking. Please be aware that summer is very busy and not all accommodation upgrades may be available!
